green dialogue Welcome, Want to Chat?

Hi everyone,

Welcome to the new and improved website! I’m very excited about it, because you can now talk to other readers of this site about any topic under the sun. Just go to the “Forum” on the navigation bar, and you’ll find a list of topics: work, parenting, education, and so on. Introduce your own subject, or join an existing discussion.

Also, under the “Community” tab, you’ll find a place where you can “Share Your Stories.” Over the past months I’ve received hundreds of letters from readers telling me their stories of life with a quiet temperament. So many times I wished that these were posted for everyone to see, because they were thoughtful or funny or inspiring or just really honest. So if you’re inclined, please consider sharing your stories more broadly. Your fellow readers will appreciate it. (And if you still prefer to write to me personally, that’s fine too.)

Also, I’ll still be blogging regularly, and welcome your comments. For today, I’d love to hear your feedback on the new and improved site. It’s a work-in-progress, so your ideas are extremely valuable.

And I look forward to joining any conversations you feel like starting on the Forum!

New site looks good, but I feel like an interloper on the forum, since I have not exhibited shyness in several decades. I do remember it well, however.

The forum’s not only about shyness! It’s about anything related to introversion.
